This article explains where we stand today within our unions and what needs to be done in order to have a Social Justice Unionism. It also sheds light on the difference between Social justice unionism and Social movement unionism. There is a little debate about why it is important to not only have a social justice unionism but also to have a social movement unionism as well. A reliable resource is encouraging people to fight for the social good in our nation, which is exactly the function of a social movement.
I believe this article is reliable as it is coming straight off of a national socialist worker website. This website may be a little biased; however, it seems to genuinely focus on fighting to get a better workforce for everyone in our nation. The goal of this article was to bring awareness to our current unions and what we should attempt in order to restore them.
